Attractions and Places to Visit

Picton, 30 minutes north by car is the terminal for inter-island ferry to the North Island. Also starting place for walking the Queen Charlotte Track or for kayaking in the Marlborough Sounds.

Kaikoura is less than 2 hours to the south for whale watching. Travel on to Hanmer for hot pool swimming.

Or travel to Hanmer via the Molesworth Station when the road is open in season. Turn off from state highway is less than 30 minutes from Blenheim

Christchurch International Airport is 4 hours south from Blenheim.

And as is typical in New Zealand, golf courses are plentiful in all towns.
